The new 3-27x56 PM II High Power is very expensive but I would buy it if I thought it was clearly a superior scope, but the reception has been Luke warm. I was reading that the Schmidt and Bender PMii 5-25x56 was revolutionary at the time and way ahead of the competition but that it is now ten years old and others have caught up and some perhaps surpassed it, but it is still the scope to which all others are compared. I’m looking at the Kahles k624i, Tangent Theta 5-25x56mm Model TT525P and Schmidt & Bender 5-25x56 PM II/LP/MTC/LT.

Of course its subjective but Im still interested in hearing various opinions. The high end German made glass in scopes like Kahles, Schmidt & Bender, Steiner, Zeiss, Hensoldt is just wonderful.
